yellow cucumbers

Question

I have yellow cucumbers on my vine; however, some are nice and green. I don’t know why some are yellow and some are green. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. What is the proper watering for them? Can you eat a cucumber that is yellow? How can I avoid this from happening next year? I am growing them in pots and they are climbing up the fence nicely. How often should I feed them and is it different feeding for different vegetables or do you feed them all the same. I am sorry for so many questions but I am new to this and I want to do a good job.
