Zone Lancaster, UK | bobjdixon added on May 26, 2020 | Answered

These yellow/black leaf markings have appeared on my young pear tree overnight. Any help identifying / treting the problem would be appreciated.

This is common with nutrient burn. If the tree has been fed, recently, it may have been too much or improperly balanced.

If there has been no feeding recently, I would say that overwatering could be an issue. This will not appear overnight, however.
