Wondering when is best time to plant rose seeds

Hi, I was given various rose seeds and wanting to see if I can get any to grow. I found your article saying how to plant rose seeds but cant find when to plant them. Can someone please tell me when is the best time to plant rose seeds? I live in Thornton NSW, Australia 2322.

Our article says to time the end of the stratification period for early spring. After doing some research, I would also add "after the danger of frost has passed."
