What does it mean when the leaves look like they’re folding in on itself? I have a variety called “Arnold’s Promise”, about 2 years old. Doing well otherwise. It’s in full sun, I water it when necessary. I don’t want to lose it. Thanks.

It could very well be that the pH of the soil is off. Dolomitic lime is useful for bringing the soil back to a buffered condition of about 7, which most plants will tolerate and adjust from there.

This article will give you more information on the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/witch-hazel/growing-witch-hazel-shrubs.htm
