Q.Wisteria

Anonymous added on March 9, 2014 | Answered

Why doesn’t my wisteria vine bloom? I have had it for 4 years and it is a beautiful, healthy vine but it has never bloomed. I have to prune it because the vines grow out everywhere. t is up against our 6 foot wooden fence, which faces the south.

The soil may have too much nitrogen. Try to offset it with some phosphorus, like bone meal, to help promote more lush blooms. This article should also help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/vines/wisteria/wisteria-blooming-problems.htm
