Q.Winter care please
I live in Northern Virginia and purchased a few new plantings earlier this year:
1) Oak Munchkin Hydrangea
2) Double Play Big Bang Spirea
3) Juniper Blue Star
4) Spiderwort (Tradescantia) Sweet Kate
…might there be some attention given towards them and to winterize? I live in hardiness Zone 7. Thank you for taking the time to read his and possibly answer too.
Jodi

Your Oak Munchkin Hydrangea;
mulching will help with moisture retention, though pruning is rarely needed except to keep it's shape and remove dead branches, this can be down in late winter to early spring.
Here are links with more information about the other plants in your garden.
