Q.Will my dwarf burning bush live in winter with road salt hitting it?

Zone Meadville,Pa. 16335 | Anonymous added on April 13, 2020 | Answered

I want to move my bush close to the road, but it will get hit with road salt and deep snow from snowplows. It is 8 years old, and only grew to 3 ft. high.

Road salt is quite harsh on nearly everything it hits or if it remains in the soil.
I would avoid planting in this area if at all possible.
