Hello, have you ever heard of a Cryptomeria Japonica standing a snowball\’s chance in Zone 4b?

You are on the edge of hardiness since a Japanese cedar is hardy in zones 5 to 9. If you want to take the time to provide winter cover, it may survive, however, the tree can reach 80 feet at maturity. Be sure to site it out of the wind and mulch it well before winter sets in.
