Q.Why We Have Yellow Leaves At The Bottom Of Our Butterfly Bushes?

Zone Zone 5 | Anonymous added on June 29, 2023 | Answered

Why we have yellow leaves at the bottom of our butterfly bushes? Our butterfly bushes are two years old, we water them once a week we live in Iowa where it’s hot and humid. They are planted in topsoil and not clay. Would the yellowing leaves be a sign that they are under watered or overwatered? Thank you

Yellowing leaves can be a sign of over or under watering so try watering twice a week and see if that helps, especially when it is very hot.
