Q.Why my shrub never has berries

Zone 85373 | pat_woodward added on October 15, 2017 | Answered

Hi,

I have a Scarlet firethorn (cherri berri) that every year gets beautiful blossoms but never berries. Not even one. Gets required sun and water. The red berries are the reason I purchased this shrub. What do you think is wrong?

Thanks

It could be that pests are getting to them bore they fully mature, or even that the plant needs some fertilization. Here is an article that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/firethorn/care-of-firethorn-bush.htm
