Perhaps the plants are not in the ideal amount of sun and shade. They may also need to be fed. Here's an article that explains how to fertilize them: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/hydrangea/fertilizing-hydrangeas.htm

Review the plants' growing conditions with the help of this article: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/hydrangea/growing-hydrangeas-hydrangea-care-guide.htm
