Q.Why is my Basil turning gray? It’s not that old!!

Re-posting this to see if I can get my picture to accompany it this time (it didn’t work last time–is 2.2MB JPG):

Why are the leaves of my basil plant starting to turn silvery-gray, in a speckled pattern? They get a morning light and I couldn’t tell you what was in the potting soil. It was all I had here in Austria. Thanks, Lora

This is from pests, Aphids.
I would pinch the plants and remove the most damaged leaves. Treat with Neem Oil.
