Q.Why Do Gardenia Leaves Turn Yellow Then Brown and Drop Off?
I live in Texas and it is very hot, 90’s and 100’s, but my plant is in the shade getting a lot of light but no sun. Please help, it was doing so well in the spring.

There are lots of reasons this can happen, but if I had to guess, I would say that it was not getting enough water in the heat you are experiencing. Increase water to the plant. This article will suggest some other options:
