Why are the leaves on my indoor hibiscus plant turning yellow and falling off?

Hibiscus can turn yellow for many, many reasons. If it is indoors, it likely a combination of a lack of light, cooler temperatures and low humidity. This articles has many of the reasons a hibiscus turns yellow:
