Q.Why Are Some Of My Peppers (not Leaves) Curling Up?

Zone Lanham, MD 20706 | mardyedwards added on July 27, 2020 | Answered

We have 3 varieties of peppers that normally grow straight down. Every one of the over 40 plants has about half straight peppers and half curled in a circle.

This can be chalked up to inconsistent growing conditions, whether it be light, fertilization, or watering. This will not affect the taste of the peppers, but to prevent this in the future it will be necessary to ensure that environmental conditions remain very stable. This can be very difficult outdoors.
