Q.why are my soursops turning black?

They get infested with ants and some type of fungus. I tried removing with a toothbrush and they became hard and never ripened.

Please include a photo. This will help me to see exactly what is going on. This sounds like the ants have brought about a fungal infection, but it could be just ant damage. I will need a photo to better assess the situation.
