Q.Why Are My Hydrangeas And Morning Glories Not Blooming Until October?
My hydrangea plant is several years old and bloomed fabulously until I made the misake of pruning three years ago. Three years ago it had no blossoms. Last year and this year it has blossoms but not until October. My morning glories did also not bloom until October.

Since both are failing to bloom well, it could be a nutrient or pH imbalance. Mainly, you will want to test for your nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus levels in your soil. During active growth, your feeding should be a little higher in nitrogen. During the bloom period, phosphorus and potassium will be higher.
