Q.why are my castor bean plants leaves smaller and dying?4

I live around Phx where temps lately have been 110-115 degrees Im not sure if I am overwatering due to temp ,plant not getting enough water or the soil may be problem Do they like their leaves wet also?

Can you include a photo? Overwatering can lead to fungal infection, which can have these symptoms. There are also many other things that can cause this as well. A photo will help me to determine the cause.
