Q.Who Manages Content On This Site?

I was looking up plants to use on rocky stream bed and came across a list for preventing erosion that promoted numerous invasive introduced plant species. It is difficult enough to get lay people to recognize the damage these plants do to the environment by degrading local habitats without having a site that purports to know how to garden suggesting that gardeners buy and use these in their landscapes. Is there anything that can be done to correct this? We have lost so much wildlife habitat to development and introduced species that promoting more of the same seems reckless and short sighted.
