Q.White Things On Leaves Of Yucca
Hello, I have a yucca for 6 years. When I bought it, it had long plentiful leaves, but for the past few years the leaves a are sparse and short, turn yellow quickly. I thought it was too much water, so now I barely water it, with no change. It does have small white things on the leaves. But they don’t move. I have also sprayed it with pest killer and they do not go. Thanks Luke

Ah, soft scale. This is a pesky insect that will leave long lasting issues for your plant, as they carry a copious amount of plant diseases.
First, you will have to remove as many as possible, manually. They seal themselves to your plants, making pesticides less effective.
Once you remove as many as possible, you can treat with a pesticide. There are many to choose from. These articles will help:

I would, also, recommend treating for fungal/bacterial infections. These articles will help:

Do you think they are the cause of the leaves growing very sparsely and going yellow? Thanks
