Q.Where To Plant Crocosmia Bulbs

Zone 45638 | Judith Sanders added on June 6, 2020 | Answered

General info from good sources on internet tell me to plant Crocosmia in full to partial sun. The Scarlet Red Crocosmia bulb pkg you sent me tells me to plant them in “Full Shade, Part Sun.” Who is correct?

We didn't send you the corms, as we don't sell any plants or merchandise, so you might recheck that. However, I can tell you from experience, if you plant crocosmia in shade, it will tend to flop over. Full to part sun is best. Since you live in the north, full sun is best for you.
