Q.When To Plant Dry Rooted Itoh Peonies
I ordered several Itoh peonies in the fall. They arrived just a short time before my mother passed away and were forgotten about. Would it be better to plant them now or keep them dry and plant them in the fall?

So sorry about your loss. Unfortunately, bare root plants should not be allowed to dry out. The tubers may not grow if they are dry, but you could still plant them and see. Wait till after the threat of frost has passed then plant them. Soak the roots for a couple of hours in lukewarm water before planting.
