When storing cannas in pots for the winter, should they be cut back? They will be stored in a place that is 50 degrees F or so for the winter.

Let them die back naturally to feed the bulbs.

Then you can cut back.

Remember that potted Cannas will multiply quickly and will crowd the pot, so you still may need to lift the bulbs and divide.
