Q.When & How To Move A Shrub.
I have planted a skimmia in the wrong place. I want to move it but don’t know if I will kill it. It is about 2-3ft and a nice round shape. It has been in the ground for some time. Can I move it without killing it?

You should try to move it when it is dormant, and not actively growing. Even in your area, February through March will be your best bet. You will want to trim it back lightly when you do. This article will help you with their care:
