when can i move potted strawberry plants outside in NY.

Question

I have many strawberry plants in plastic pots or window boxes. I wintered them in my unheated garage, but I was wondering when I should move them back outside. I live in northern NY (zone 4 or 5). We have been getting 50 and 60 degree days so I thought about putting them outside, but I wasn’t sure if the nightly frost would hurt them, or if they are hardy enough for that.
