Q.what’s happening to my Ruhbarb (the stem keeps on breaking and another one has diseased leaves)
I am trying to grow ruhbarb in pots. I am not sure if it’s related to the size of the pot but I am having two troubles.
First as you’ll see in the first image, the stem of the older leaves keeps breaking. The leaf is still alive but it happened already with another leaf. I am thinking that it might be the pot. Normally it would have the ground to rest on maybe.
The second one, as you can see the leave seems to have a disease.
It is my first try with Rhubarb, but I put it in a very sunny area–sun at least 7h, and is very hot this summer in Europe.

It probably has everything to do with the heat, and possible overwatering to try and compensate.
