Q.What Sort Of Soil Should My TRACHELOSPERMUM PINK SHOWERS (STAR JASMINE) Be Grown In
I purchase a TRACHELOSPERMUM PINK SHOWERS (STAR JASMINE) and was wondering if it should be grown in an ALKALINE or ACID Soil as my soil is VERY ALKALINE and on the CHALKY SIDE. I have noticed some of the leaves on my plant have gone slightly yellow. also could you recommend a fertiliser which I could feed it with When I planted it I dug in some CHICKEN MANURE PELLETS. The only instructions that came with my plant says plant in fertile well drained soil. It does seem to be sprouting new leaves and some of the older leaves have dropped off I haven’t supplied a PHOTOGRAPH as I do not know how to do this Many thanks

Jasmine isn't too picky about soil, as long as it's well-draining and somewhat moist. These two articles have some excellent info on why this happens and what to do.
