What should I do to get rid of bluish mold on the branches of my gardenias? I live in Florida.

If it's flacky or bluish-green to gray in color, it is most likely lichen that you are seeing on the branches. Lichen normally does not cause any problems for plants, other than making them somewhat unattractive.
