What proven formula for weed control?

Salt,vinegar, dish detergent. Does this really work?

I have not tried those methods myself, but according to the articles, they do work; though instructions need to be followed carefully. For example, you can't just pour salt on weeds, it must be diluted. And these methods may need to be repeated for results.
