Q.What Perennials Are Suitable For Raining Pacific Northwest Puget Sound Zone 8?

Zone 98002 | Anonymous added on April 8, 2023 | Answered

Hello, I live in Washington state zone 8 puget sound area. I planted a lot of roses. I like to plant some rose companion plants. I had no luck with Scabiosa, coreopsis or agastache( hummingbird mint). We have so much rain in fall and winter. I am thinking of saliva and catmint for my roses this year. Are they ok with rain? Or any ideas? Thank you!

Salvia needs to dry out between waterings, so it may not be a good choice. Catmint, too, likes it on the dry side. You might like to try daylilies.
