I planted it in April 22. It settled in nicely, put out new shoots and suddenly began to dry up and turn brown. Gets plenty or sun and water. Any advice?

It could be fungal issues due to overwatering. Usually they are easy to care for. Try cutting back on watering and cutting out the damaged leaves/stems.
