Q.What Is Wrong With My Monstera Ginni

Zone 94521 | Luks Luk added on January 29, 2024 | Answered

This plant hasn’t have new leaves for 6 months now and I am noticing the last node is like a small ball now. I don’t know what is going on. Any help is appreciated.

Not until after it recovers from repotting. Once you see significant new growth, you can snip that off, if it hasn't fallen off already. This will help it to branch out some, as well.

It looks like it is trying its best! This could be the start of a stress flower. Likely it has run out of nutrients for proper growth, and has slowed down. I would recommend potting it up into some rich soil into a slightly larger container. Water a little less until it is established or it might start to get some root rot. Though it is not a true philodendron, it is treated just like one.
