Q.what is wrong with my Esperanza plant?

Zone South Texas | bwyatt added on July 13, 2014 | Answered

I live in south Texas and my Esperanza plant or yellow bell has yellow spots on the leaves. There is a little green on between and it has new growth.

There are a number of possible reasons why leaves on your pepper plant would turn yellow. (BTW, that's Esperanza pepper; Esparza is something completely different) This article gives you a rundown on the common ones: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pepper/pepper-yellow-leaves.htm
If you need someone to actually look at your plant and give you advice, you can take leaf and soil samples to the nearest Extension Service. This article will help you find one: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/info/what-is-extension-service.htm
