Q.What Is This Plant/flower?
My Cousin is a life-long farmer in the northeast of Nebraska. He knows all the plants on his farm – but stuck on this one!! Do you have a name? Five heart shaped petals. Also, I have these cuttings in a glass or water, will they root? How can I grow them?? Thanks!!

It looks like it could be sulphur cinquefoil. You can leave a couple stems in water to see if they root (remove lower leaves) but also put a couple stems (with the lower leaves removed) in a small nursery type pot filled with either potting soil or perlite. Cover with a plastic bag. Here is more:
