Q.What Is Eating My Cauliflower And Collarsd

Zone Cape Coral, Fl | geoengren added on November 7, 2022 | Answered

I have no slugs, cut worms, earwigs etc. Healthy soil, even watering, but at night something is eating just leaves not stems. And only four or five leaves a night.

Without catching it in the act, it is quite difficult to say! One thing that I could suggest, because I figure it could be something like rabbits or raccoons or similar, would be hot pepper spray! This is enough to keep most mammals away. The hotter the better, but do have care to wash them off before you consume them if you choose this route.

Otherwise, fencing may be your next option, unfortunately.
