What Is A Good Alternative For Grass For A Shady Area?

I’ve tried to sod my lawn multiple times. I’ve tried reseeding multiple times. I’m at the point where I just have excepted that there’s no way I can grow grass. I’m not much of a gardener. I need something that’s low maintenance and that will look ok in a fairly large area. My yard receives almost no sun. It seems all I can grow is weeds and moss. Please advise.
