What Fertilizer Is Best for Holly Bushes

I have a holly bush, which almost died over the winter hear in Michigan. I pruned the dead branches off this spring, and it is looking better now, but what kind of fertlizer should I use on it to give it a jump start for surviving the up coming winter?
