Q.What Do You Treat The Soil UNDER Fruit Trees Where Fruit Has Been Left For Years?
I appreciate the trimming instructions for old apple trees but I know that ground under trees is also a BIG problem, what is best?

The soil around your apple tree should test around 6.5 pH. You'll need to perform a soil test, and then amend the soil to get it where it needs to be. Here's a link for a few articles that will tell you how to test your soil. You can have it done or do it yourself. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/search?q=soil%20test
