What could cause cucumbers to be tasteless

Question

I grow cucumbers. However, they don’t have a strong taste to them when eaten. What could cause such a problem? How can I make them taste better? Please let me know. Thanks.

You may have just grown a mild variety, but you can try cutting back water just a little. This will force the plant to concentrate its chemicals (and flavors) a bit more which will make it taste stronger.
