Q.What causes dark red with yellow edged spots on Sago Palms?
I have 4 Sago Palms. One has deep red spots with a yellow ring around the outside edge of spots and the other three are starting to show the same spots on their foliage. What causes it and how do I treat it? They are all planted outside in the ground.

It is likely a fungus. There are several that can create spots. Treat the plant with a fungicide and remove the affected fronds. I like neem oil, as it treats both fungus and pests, (should this be the culprit for causing the fungus) and is safe for people and pets.
