For a new (just purchased) Red Yucca Plant in a large container with a mix of gereral purcase soil and sand.

Irrigate it regularly for the first year, taking care not to overwater. Thereafter, native rainfall should be sufficient. It is a slow grower, eventually reaching 2 to 4 feet tall.
