Q.What Can I Do To Help A Damaged Magnolia Tree?

Zone Four Oaks, Nc | Pecanhillranch added on June 18, 2021 | Answered

I have a young little gem magnolia tree that was attached by some goats today. Several of the lower branches are broken. Will the branches take root if I put them in water? Will the main tree be ok? Will new branches grow out from the bottom part of the trunk? What can I go to help it. This is a very special tree. Thanks

It will be fine, unless the goats can still get to the tree. There is no guarantee that it will not happen again if the goats still have access to it.

You could make an attempt to root the branches for more trees. This article will help:
