What Are The Secrets To Growing Watermelon And Cantaloupe?

I tried to grow these 2 fruits only one time. However, they didn’t get any size to them at all. What can I do to ensure a good crop? How do I ensure that they will even grow. I’m actually afraid of trying to grow them again. Any suggestions?

They need full sun, lots of room, well draining soil, and lots of water. You also must be vigilant about pests and disease. Become familiar with the pests that visit those crops so you can be forewarned and ready.
