Q.Watermelon and Strawberries

Anonymous added on October 1, 2012 | Answered

I understand you can leave the ‘feeders’ of strawberry plants in the ground and they will grow strawberries next season. Is this true and does the same work for a watermelon vine? Will it produce watermelons next season?

This is true for the strawberries, but watermelons do not return each year. These have to be replanted each season.
