Q.Watering Tulip Bulb in Ground During Winter
I planted my tulip bulbs today (northeast Oklahoma) in the ground. I’ve watered them. I will put mulch on them over the weekend. Do I need to water them during the winter? If so, how often? If not, when do I start watering them so they will bloom in the spring?

You do not need to water your tulips in winter, as they will be dormant and do not require moisture during this time (it could cause the bulbs to rot). Once you see sprouting in spring, you can resume your regular watering practices.
