Q.Very Old Neanthe Bella Palm

Zone Gray ME | Nailgurl added on April 13, 2020 | Answered

Hi I am babysitting a very old Palm for a friend and wanted to know how to trim it up? It has tons of squiggly things and also small berries. What can be trimmed without hurting this plant? I am also sending a photo along. Thank-You

These palms are self-cleaning. This means that when dead parts are ready to fall off, they will do so without assistance.

At most, you can give the dead pieces a tug. If they are close enough to falling off, then they will come right off.
