I have planted verbena seed over a month ago and it still is not coming up? What could be the problem? Are some varieties of verbena harder to start than others?

These require being in the dark, and can take anywhere up to 12 weeks to start. Place them in a dark area and check them each day to make sure they haven't started. If they have, you will want to transplant these that have into the light.
