Q.Uncover Winter Hay from Roses

Anonymous added on March 15, 2014 | Answered

It has been unseasonably warm this year. It is in the 60’s and 70’s and I wonder when I should remove the hay I used to cover the roses in the winter? Thank you so very much.

As long as the weather remains mild, you can go ahead and remove the hay, but I would keep it close by just in case a cold snap comes in. This way you can quickly cover them back up.
