Q.Trying to Identify a Leaf Fungus

I’ve discovered what I think is a fungus on my lilac leaves which is causing them to shrivel.

These tiny worm like growths are Spindle Galls. They are caused by the tiny Eriophyid Mite.
They form in the spring mostly and really don't harm the host plant.
