Trumpet Vines

Question

We have 3 or 4 separate trumpet vine plants growing along the side of our house next to our neighbor’s driveway and have been trying to trellis it without it clinging to the side of our house and ripping off the siding and stripping the paint off. We are thinking of building a sort of pergola or arbor to arch them over the small strip of land between the house and neighbor’s driveway. What is the best way to do this and what are the best materials to use in these efforts?
